HUANG ZHOU ( 1925 - 1997 ) was a Chinese Modern and Contemporary artist. Huang Zhou's theories on calligraphy and painting established him as one of the foremost contemporary Chinese painters. He also served in many different leadership and advisory roles in the government. Huang co-founded the Research Institute of Traditional Chinese Painting and over saw the establishment of the Yan Huang Art
