Keishu ( 1860 - 1949 ) was a Japanese painter. Keishu s works have been put up for auction numerous times, with realized prices varying from 50.33 USD for Portrait of an artist at work in front of a woman portrayed on a painter's palet, a landscape in the background in 2009 to 96.56 USD for Butterfly and peony in front of a waterfall in 2010 , based on the size and medium of the artwork.
