1. How do I search?

It is easy!

If you want to search an artist

+ Enter a first name, last name or both in the box, e.g "Picasso", "Pablo Picasso"

+ Click "Search"

If you want to search a painting,

+ Choose "search a painting",

+ Enter any title or part of it, e.g "portrait", "portrait of Ingrid Bergman"

+ Click "Search"

If you want to search an antique,

+ Choose “search an antique lot”

+ Enter any title or part of it, e.g “vase”, “White porcelain baluster vase”

+ Click "Search"

2. What can I do with “search advanced”?

It helps you determine the search in details

If you want to search more details about Artists

+ At the “Object”, choose “Artists”

+ At “Choose item”, choose any of four items that meets your search requirement; Artist’s name, Artist’s country, Born after, Died before

+ Use “+” or “-“to narrow down or expand your search

+ Click “Search”

If you want to search more details about Paintings

+ At the “Object”, choose “Fine Art”

+ At “Choose item”, choose any of four items that meets your search requirement; Search by title, Search by Artist’s name, Search by auction name, Search by medium

+ Use “+” or “-“to narrow down or expand your search

+ Click “Search”

If you want to search more details about Antique

+ At the “Object”, choose “Antique”

+ At “Choose item”, choose any of four items that meets your search requirement; Maker’s name, Search by title, Search by auction name, Select a category and sub-categories

1. Why do I have to create an account?

Although many of our services are free, creating an account can help you get the most out of BidtoArt, including:

+ Give you 3 days of FREE ACCESS to exclusively detailed art prices with larger image of artworks if available

+ Add and receive email alert about artists of your interest.

2. How do I create an account?

Click “Log in / Sign up” at the top right of any BidtoArt page, in the pop-up window, click at “create an account”.

Then enter your information to create an account.

3. I am having trouble logging in. What can I do?

Here is a brief list of common login issues and solutions:

+ Is the caps lock key currently turned on? Your login information is case specific. Please make sure that you are using the correct letter cases for your password.

+ What time and date does your computer’s clock currently show? If the time or date is incorrect BidtoArt will not be able to log you in for security reasons.

+ Have you recently cleared your cookies and cache of temporary data? BidtoArt uses what are called session cookies to recognize that you have logged into the site. Depending on your personal browsing patterns, you may need to clear your cookies in order to login to BidtoArt.

+ You may mistype your password and/or have white space before the password.

4. How do I update my personal information?

Log in to your account and click at “Personal Info”.

Then click at “Change info” in red on the top of the box.

Fill in new details and then click “Submit”.

5. How do I change my password?

You can change password online easily.

Log in to your account and click at “Personal Info”

Then click at “Change password” next to “Password” section

Enter your new password and click “Submit” to complete all changes.

6. What do I get by purchasing BidtoArt subscription?

By purchasing a subscription plan, you can explore unlimitedly all detailed auction records and other services and offers reserved for subscribers.

While a free member can only give you access to a little part of database.

7. How do I pay for subscription?

After logging in as a free member, you can upgrade your account to a paid member to explore detailed auction prices by clicking at subscription plans here

8. What types of payment do you accept?

You can pay safely by choosing a method that is most convenient to you between credit cards, Paypal and bank transfer. We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and JCB.

9. How can I follow artist?

As a paid member, you can follow up to 300 artists, simply by clicking at “Favorites” in the green box, right under artist name.

10. What is the artist alert?

It is a small email notification that the work of an artist of your interest was auctioned. It also gives you a brief summary of the auction sale in which your favored artists included.

11. Can I cancel my account or ask for refund?

You can cancel your account at any time. However, we do not pro-rate or refund the monthly subscription which has already been paid and in use, but if you cancel your annual subscription within a period of six months from the commencement date (or extended subscription date) of your membership you will only be charged for the period that has lapsed on the cost basis of a monthly plan, and the outstanding balance will be credited to your card.
