Pretoria-based artist Philip Badenhorst obtained a degree in Fine Art from Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education and was twice awarded the Gregoire Boonzaier Bursary for Painting. He spent many years lecturing painting at both the University of Potchefstroom and the University of Pretoria, and has enjoyed an extensive career as a painter, including numerous solo and group exhibit
