Tan Ping ( 1960 - ) is a Chinese painter, known as the leading figure of Chinese abstract art, pioneer of the contemporary Chinese art design. Tan Ping s works have been put up for auction numerous times, with realized prices greatly surpassing estimated prices, varying from 11685 USD for Yi Jianmei, a Title for a Poem and Song in 2014 to a remarkable record 297720.73 USD for Yi Jian Mei, a Tit
