Born in the Eastern Cape, Zolani Siphungela attended the Walter Sisulu University in East London, where he received his Diploma in Fine Arts in 2009. After this, he moved to Cape Town and began pursuing his artistic career. In 2014, he received the David Koloane Award and exhibited with Bag Factory at the Johannesburg Art Fair. Siphungela works in a number of mediums including woodcuts, oil painti
