Session 1 – Dassenberg Rescue Centre Benefit Auction – Lots 1 – 6

Strauss & Co in collaboration with Everard Read is delighted to present a special benefit session that features six exceptional lots by artists Barbara Wildenboer, Helmut Starke, Nicola Bailey, Dylan Lewis, and Nigel Mullins. The proceeds of each work will be donated to the Dassenberg Rescue Centre. This admirable organisation is committed to caring for neglected and abused dogs and horses in Atlantis, Western Cape. As a non-profit organisation, they rely heavily on public support to provide essential care and rehabilitation for up to 60 dogs and 40 horses, as well as running a community outreach programme that uses animals to help vulnerable youth in therapeutic interventions. By acquiring one of the lots in this benefit session, you will be making a significant contribution to this noble cause. We encourage you to bid generously and join us in supporting the vital work of the Dassenberg Rescue Centre.

Session 2 – Art Club – lots 7 – 92

Strauss & Co is pleased to announce the launch of Art Club, a monthly live event that will alternate between our Johannesburg and Cape Town salerooms. Strauss & Co’s Art Club will be held on the first Tuesday of every month, coinciding with a monthly online auction. It provides the public with an opportunity to learn with the company’s specialists and forms part of Strauss & Co’s commitment to further education and in-person hospitality.

Session 3 – Namibian Horizons – lots 93 - 128

Strauss & Co is excited to present a special focus that celebrates Namibian landscape art. The auction presents a rare opportunity for art collectors to own a piece of Namibia's natural beauty through a stunning collection of extraordinary and pristine Namibian landscape paintings and other subjects by Namibian artists. The auction will showcase a diverse range of artworks, including oil paintings, watercolours, and works on paper.
Visitors can view the paintings at a special preview exhibition Monday to Friday, 10 am to 5 pm at the Strauss & Co Cape Town office, Brickfield Canvas, Brickfield Road, Woodstock.
