My favorite fields are painting, fine wines and vintage cars. The auctioneer is "a generalist" who works in concert with experts and committees in all specialties. Our educational role aimed at informing and promoting, is illustrated in the context of our days of expertise in a climate of trust that we are keen to preserve. Taste is changing rapidly, new generations of collectors have other centers of interest, there are many cultural relays thanks to new communication tools. In this context, our house seeks to be ever more dynamic and innovative while favoring personalized work. Our recent great discovery in a cellar in Brittany: A painting by Indonesian artist Raden Saleh (1811-1880), "Wild Bull Hunt" is the result of in-depth "hand-sewn" work for which I went to the meeting of museums and collectors in South East Asia. Sold for €8.6 million (costs included) last January, the work currently holds the record for the most beautiful French auctions of 2018... In Paris, our reception desk allows us to present our most beautiful objects to collectors and experts, French and foreign. In Hong Kong, we have initiated sales of Grands Crus Classés since 2011. This fruitful experience under the Fine Wine French Auctioneers label has enabled us to create privileged contacts with Asian collectors.
